Nymphomania. Sex addiction in females SXT 125

A Nymphomaniac is a female with very high sexual urges and sexual drive that her sexual desires are almost insatiable. It is a type of hypersexuality just like compulsive masturbation in males. Both are sexual dysfunctions of the stage of sexual activity; desire.

Commercial sex workers cannot be classified as having sex addiction, they do what they must to survive. A good percentage of them use psychoactive drugs to stay focused and energetic so they can have sex as many times as possible daily. This isn't so for real female sex addicts, they don't need drugs, it isn't a hobby. Most of them realise it's a problem and are not happy about it. Some of their spouses initially don't mind but when the brother realises the sex in excess, he runs.

Imagine having 2 rounds of sex before bed, she wakes him up during the night for one round, forces him for another round in the morning, then masturbates before she goes to work, after work she uses her sex toys on herself and can't wait to see her bobo.  This is a classic example of a nymphomaniac. Guys if you think you like to have sex, don't pray to meet a nymphomaniac because you will run!

These people with hypersexuality can also be classified as having an obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) because the idea and urges keep coming to them despite their efforts to exclude them from their mind(obsession) and they react to the urges by having sex(compulsion). For them having sex is an OCD, It must be done.

The implications are usually of the psychiatric and physical types. They eventually seek help due to depression, anxiety or suicide. They are liable to sexually transmitted infections, they may be carriers of different infections too and before seeking help, they could have transferred these sexually transmitted infections to different people. They are generally adventurous due to the insatiety and thus might be homosexual as well as heterosexual. In extreme cases, some become pedophiles, could have also tried having sex with animals or even inanimate objects . They can also have different sexual dysfunctions occurring along side nymphomania.

People don't readily admit to being a sex addict but when they come to a psychiatrist or sexologist, it is usually their partner or loved one that encourages them to get help. People seek help for depression and other psychiatric disorders, so why not seek help for sex addiction? The first step is admittance of the problem . To a professional, a problem is a problem, and once therapy is started, everything changes.
